I first came to yoga after being diagnosed with Turners Syndrome and hypothyroidism at fifteen years old. My first class was a Power Yoga class at the local dance studio, and I fell in love immediately. Yoga became a way for me to begin to heal my relationship with my body which I felt had betrayed me, and throughout the years my yoga and meditation practice have helped me battle an eating disorder, endometriosis, loss of family members to cancer as well as helped me find balance in this busy life. In my teaching, I draw on my 15 years of practice and trainings in YogaFit and Core Strength Vinyasa. My goal as a teacher is to give others the same chance at healing that I had, to share the sense of inner peace I found in yoga and to show on a daily basis that yoga really is for everyone.
